I'm a big enthusiast of collecting online the data that can be collected online. It allows us to gather data
quicker, from larger and more diverse populations than those you can access in the lab.
We built a toolbox
(JATOS: Just Another Tool for Online Studies) that manages a server to run
studies online. The toolbox is still under active development, so please check it out!

"Just Another Tool for Online Studies": An open-source tool to conduct cognitive science experiments

JATOS supports online studies, including longitudinal and group studies. I will
describe the requirements to run a study online, and describe the most common tools available to
build and run studies online. I will also give an overview of the advantages and (more importantly),
limitations of collecting data online.
